How can we help?

  • Why choose Cumberland Machinery Movers?
    Two reasons: safety and insurance.

    Safety

When it comes to safety, our company takes no chances. We recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we will provide them with the tools, materials, and training that is second to none in our industry. Our company has retained the services of an established ANSI Z10 Certified safety provider that augments our internal safety management program. Each employee of the company must complete a comprehensive trade safety course. Topics include but are not limited to: ladder safety, scaffolding safety, rigging safety & certifi cation, crane operations, hazardous communication, lockout/tag out, electrical safe work practices, PPE selection and use, fall protection and prevention, fire extinguisher use, fire prevention, welding/cutting safe operations, material handling, bloodborne pathogens, first aid/CPR and more. Safety is non-negotiable. We provide all employees with accredited annual safety training and certifications. In addition, with augmented services of our safety management provider, we have random jobsite audits, accident investigations for cause and future avoidance, a Christian based support group for injured workers, real safety incentive measures, weekly toolbox talks, supervisor competent person certification, quarterly newsletters on OSHA activity and one of the nation’s top safety gurus available upon request. Our safety management provider is on the cutting edge of training, education and regulatory compliance. Their services also include random and suspicion drug testing with the ability to test for today’s designer drugs. We are in a long-term partnership with our safety management provider, and we have made that commitment for our employees, their families and our customers. Our management team is committed to providing EVERYTHING needed to SAFELY get the job done. No shortcuts, no excuses, and no OSHA violations. Safety is our culture, because all of our lives depend on it.

    Insurance

As with our safety program, we don’t cut corners on insurance coverage. The short-term savings from using a company that cuts their rates by not being properly insured are definitely not worth the risks involved. Our coverage exceeds industry standards because we want to protect our customers’ equipment and interests as well as the interests of our company. We also qualify our subcontractors to ensure that their insurance coverage meets our standards. We also review whether additional coverage is necessary prior to every project to ensure that the proper coverage is in place.
